Duck Off Adventures has teamed up with The Nest Climbing Gym to bring you a 6-week guided climbing course designed to build skill, strength and confidence, whether you’re new to climbing or ready to level up.
This course blends structured indoor climbing progression, expert instruction from The Nest team, movement-focused mat Pilates, and a welcoming community atmosphere into a relaxed and supportive Sunday morning routine.

WHAT TO EXPECT EACH WEEK
30-minute guided mat Pilates warm-up
Led by Eilish, focusing on climbing-specific movement, mobility, joint preparation and core engagement. A purposeful warm-up designed to help you move well, build awareness and reduce injury risk.
60-minute guided climbing session
Led by an instructor from The Nest, with a focus on skill development, technique and confidence. Sessions are progressive and build across the 6 weeks.

Connect and climb alongside a supportive crew.

OUTDOOR CLIMBING ADVENTURE (WEEK 7)
To wrap up the course, Duck Off Adventures and The Nest invite you to join an optional full-day outdoor climbing experience. This final session takes the skills learned indoors and applies them in a real outdoor setting.

Casual Drop-In
$50 per session
Casual spots are limited and may be released weekly once the course is confirmed.
Minimum Numbers
This program runs once minimum participant numbers are reached.
If minimum numbers are not met, all payments will be refunded.
Outdoor Finale – booked separately
$100 per person (10+ participants)
$120 per person (under 10 participants)

No experience is required. This course is suitable for beginners and those with some prior climbing experience. Sessions are guided and instructors will support different ability levels throughout the course.

Entry to The Nest Climbing Gym for each session
Climbing shoe hire
Harness hire
A 30-minute guided mat Pilates warm-up
A 60-minute guided climbing session with a Nest instructor

All essential climbing equipment is provided. You only need to bring comfortable activewear and a water bottle.

Casual drop-in spots may be available for individual sessions. These are limited and released weekly once the course is confirmed. Availability is not guaranteed.

The course is designed as a progressive program. Attending all six weeks allows you to build skills, strength and confidence safely while getting the most out of the instruction.

If minimum participant numbers are not met, the course will not proceed and all payments will be fully refunded.

If you miss a session, it cannot be refunded or rescheduled. However, you are welcome to continue with the remaining weeks of the course.
FAQ’s

Yes. The first three weeks focus on rope climbing with an emphasis on safety, technique and building comfort at height. You are never required to do anything you are not comfortable with.

A general level of fitness is helpful, but no specific strength or climbing ability is required. The Pilates warm-up and climbing sessions are designed to support gradual progression.

Yes. The Pilates warm-up is mat-based and focuses on mobility, movement patterns and strength relevant to climbing. Exercises are adaptable and guided.

No. The outdoor climbing adventure in Week 7 is an optional add-on and is booked separately from the 6-week course.

No prior outdoor climbing experience is required. All technical gear is provided and the day is fully guided. Participation in the 6-week course is recommended before joining the outdoor day.

If conditions are unsafe, the outdoor day may be postponed or rescheduled. Further details will be provided closer to the date.
