Duck Off Adventures has teamed up with The Nest Climbing Gym to bring you a 6-week guided climbing course designed to build skill, strength and confidence — whether you’re new to climbing or ready to level up.

This course blends structured indoor climbing progression, expert instruction from The Nest team, movement-focused mat Pilates, and a welcoming community atmosphere into a relaxed and supportive Sunday morning routine.

    • Our Clyde River campsite is tucked right beside the water in a peaceful, forested spot. It’s private, quiet, and perfect for campfires and slow mornings.

    • Accessible by AWD or standard vehicles

    • Final access is via a well-maintained dirt road

    • Parking is right at the campsite

    • The river is shallow, clear, and perfect for paddling, floating, and swimming

    • There is a shed + table + mini-camp kitchen we can use if weather turns bad

    • No phone reception (and that’s half the magic)

      A detailed arrival guide, pin drop, and driving tips will be sent closer to the trip. 

    • Simple bush-style campground

    • Drop toilet on-site

    • No showers

    • Beautiful Clyde River for rinsing off or freshening up

    • Fresh river water for washing (not for drinking)

    • We provide all drinking water for the group

  • Yes. The campsite is accessible by AWD or standard cars, but the final stretch is a dirt road. Just take it slow and you’ll be fine.

  • This is a simple, bush-style campground with:

    • Drop toilet

    • No showers

    • Beautiful river access for rinsing off

    • A shed + table + small shelter we can use if the weather turns bad

    • Fresh river water for washing (not drinking)

    • We bring all drinking water

  • Nope! This camp is for beginners, improvers, or anyone who just wants a weekend out in nature. All workshops are optional and beginner-friendly.

  • All meals while camping. Think: fresh, wholesome group meals cooked over the fire or in camp kitchen setups. We also supply coffee/tea and a welcome drink.

  • No. This is a no-service zone, which makes it the perfect place to switch off. Tell anyone who needs to know before you come.

  • YES — most people do. This trip is designed to meet new people, make friends, and feel part of a group.

  • Absolutely. Sessions are slow, simple, and focused on mobility and stretching — perfect after a day of paddling and exploring.

FAQ’s

  • A basic level of comfort outdoors is helpful, but everything is at your own pace. We prioritise fun, safety, and confidence over speed or intensity.

  • We only run the trip if the conditions are safe. There is a shed/shelter at camp we can use for cooking, workshops, and hanging out if needed.

  • You’re welcome to bring your own kayak/SUP, but we’ll also have shared options available for group paddles and river floats.

  • Drop toilet only. No showers. Most people swim in the river to freshen up.

  • Yes — responsibly. Bring your own.

  • No, this camp is designed for adults (18+).

  • We keep it small and intimate, usually around 10–15 people.
